TelAlaska Announces New President and Operations Vice President
Dave Goggins, former Vice President of Operations for TelAlaska, has assumed the role of President and General Manager. Jason Louvier, formerly the Outside Plant Engineer, was promoted to Vice President of Operations.
A TelAlaska employee for nearly 35 years, Goggins has worked in all of TelAlaska’s communities and thoroughly understands the company’s operations in those culturally diverse and geographically challenging areas of the state. He has served on the Western Telecommunications Alliance (WTA) executive board and committees for the Alaska Telephone Association (ATA). “I’ve been a part of TelAlaska virtually since its beginning and am excited and thankful for the opportunity to lead it on its continued success,” Goggins said.
Louvier has over 17 years of experience in leadership and engineering roles in telecommunications, the last 10 with TelAlaska. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute.
TelAlaska is a telecommunications solutions company serving 25 rural communities and providing advanced network solutions throughout the state.
