TelAlaska has recently been experiencing intermittent network outages and slower speeds on our internet and cellular network in Unalaska and Dutch Harbor. While troubleshooting these issues we discovered a rogue transmission in the middle of our frequency, which has the capability of interfering with the reception of our signal in Unalaska, causing errors resulting in poor performance. We are working on a solution with our satellite vendor that will lead to some brief internet and cellular outages from 1:00 am to 4:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
